Home Dashboard Guide
Once logged-on you’ll be brought to your home dashboard.
Under the Product Dashboard heading you’ll see two tabs for Active Products and Product Requests;
Product Requests – clicking into your product requests will show you any product requests that have been made by your associated suppliers/producers.
Active Products – this is where you’ll find any products that you have uploaded. You can either;
Under the Product Specifications heading you'll see two tabs for Add/Edit and Edit Multiple Products;
*Note that the Product Code can not be updated via Edit Multiple Products.
If you have been provided with a questionnaire to complete, the options relating to this will also appear on your home dashboard. Select add to begin filling out a new questionnaire, or edit to re-visit one that still needs to be completed.
Product Upload Guide
Once logged-on you’ll be brought to your home dashboard.
Under the Product Dashboard heading you’ll see two tabs for Active Products and Product Requests;
Product Requests – clicking into your product requests will show you any product requests that have been made by your associated suppliers/producers.
Active Products – this is where you’ll find any products that you have uploaded. You can either;
- Search for a specific product of yours by using the Product Code or the Product Name, or a combination of both. You can also select whether you wish to only search for Verified products or not.
- Leave all fields blank, and check the Verified box to ‘Any’, to see all of your currently active products hosted on Foodbyte.
Under the Product Specifications heading you'll see two tabs for Add/Edit and Edit Multiple Products;
- Add/Edit - This option allows you to start uploading your products. More details can be found below in our 'Product Upload Guide'.
- Edit Multiple Products - This button will provide you with a list of all of your hosted products. By selecting 'Grid Edit' from the top left hand corner, users will then be able to update;
- Macronutrient Details
- Allergen Information
- Spec Sheet Addition
- Verification
*Note that the Product Code can not be updated via Edit Multiple Products.

Product Upload Guide
- To upload products, from your home dashboard underneath the heading ‘Product Specifications’, click on the add/edit button. Begin by filling in the product code that you are uploading and selecting ‘Add this New Product.’
- The next step is to submit the correct names and description, as well as uploading the appropriate spec sheet before updating and continuing.
- If the product is an exempted product, simply highlight the ‘Exempted Product’ box to proceed.
- NOTE: Please note to only tick the exempted product box if the product you're uploading fulfills this criteria and is considered raw.
- Continue through the forms filling out the essential details, those fields marked with a red asterisk are required fields.
- The information to prioritise is that under the four headings at the top of :
- Names, Measures, Macros, Allergens. These are the priority in terms of getting the essential product, nutritional and allergen information for each item, but of course the more information you can provide the better. This will also save you having to revisit any products in the future to add more detail.
- At the bottom of the ‘Allergens’ page, and also on your final page ‘Product Info’, the final line is Producer Verified, once you’re satisfied all the information you’ve supplied is correct, please tick this box to confirm the product details.
- You can then finish the upload process on the final ‘Product Info’ page and save your uploaded product.
